The exhibition “Coming Closer” shows works by 3 Thai and 4 German artists: Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch, Chalid Nakpawan, Panchalee Sathinsart, Dorine Crass, Doris Hinzen- Roehrig, Christine Falk and Hermann Valentin Schmitt. It represents an interesting encounter between contemporary art from east and west; each artist has his or her own individual background, experiences, techniques and skills. Though they have known each other for over 10 years, their artistic messages are completely different.

The exhibition “Coming Closer” testifies to the fact that art serves these 7 artists as a basis for approaching and communicating with one another, even though they have different origins and have taken different paths.

Thai and German visitors to the exhibition will see both their differences and their rapprochement clearly reflected in their works.
